When it comes to comfort and style, sneakers are always the best go-to trend. I love how Athleisure paved the way to our favorite sneakers and I’m sensing that it will be here to stay. We also did see a lot of transformations to our favorite sneakers and they’re all good but nothing’s better than the classics too. They already came in a variety of colors and style, and I am definitely sure that investing in these cool trends would be worth it.
I’m the kind of girl who is constantly on the go so I really choose my clothes closely when buying them. I prioritize comfort over style and then I just make the most out of it. I love fashion and everything that comes with it but I also wanted to feel good in my own skin.
I’m not one of those perfect people out there. I’m petite, definitely not skinny and I don’t have that flawless skin but it doesn’t mean I can’t dress nicely and fashionably. I just have to wear my clothes and top it off with confidence and I’m good to go!
As much as possible, I wanted everything to be easy and simple but I’ll make sure it would look classy and sophisticated once I wear them on. I always dreamed of donning a look without much effort but at the same time, it would looked like I have spent hours preparing for it. I want everyone to think I poured all my efforts for a single look and I love getting compliments at the end of the day. It really fattens my heart but I definitely make sure it doesn’t climb up my head.
Another day, another look. The crop top was from Something Borrowed . It was really comfortable not to mention the open shoulders sleeves. I paired it with a ripped, high-waisted, denim shorts I bought from a mall bazaar. I opted for this shoes which was from Zalora Ph. It was really cool and everybody envied it.
This week, I was really busy with the supplemental review which is a preparation for the Philippine Nursing Licensure Examination happening on May 2016. I have been coming home late recently and I didn’t have the time to open and blog. But now the weekends here, I have enough time to supplement my site’s own needs.
Today was a good day. The sun was out and everything went totally fine. I arrived to school earlier than expected and had to listen for a four-hour lecture. My friends and I had lunch at 12 nn and we consumed a mouth-watering lechon leaving our tummies full. After which, a friend and I decided to skip the afternoon session of our review and we went home instead. Everything was so typical and I’m contented.
This is an outfit post from a long time ago. A white dress with touches of earth tones perfect for a simple party. One of the things I like about dressing up is that you can either go all out or play it safe. Here, I chose to play it safe in order to stay classy. I added some pearl necklace and opted for those white peep toe shoes. I also used this shoulder bag in order to put all my essentials in for a day of fun and laughter. Next time, I will challenge myself to use the dress for a different look. Maybe go all out and create a spontaneous outfit and surprise not only you but also myself.
Another look by me. The dress was a gift from my “manito” on our Christmas Party in our freshman year. I love the dress so much and I always wear it to church. I paired it with my mom’s wedges because I’m not really the kind of girl who would buy such. I’m more of like a flats slash sneakers girl. Luckily for me, mom lets me borrow things from her wardrobe!
Today was hectic. We started the class with a quiz which I didn’t study last night. I think I survived it although I am not so sure about my score. I was also on NPO, consuming only two cans of coffee which is a very unhealthy way to live. Now I suffer from palpitations and I can’t control it unless I sleep this off. Why is that you ask? Because we had another quiz just this afternoon and although I got more time to eat my lunch, I still opted for the coffee because I was not hungry at all. Our afternoon session pushed through and I listened attentively to our Leadership and Management class because my instructor is so dreamy and inspiring at the same time! Now I’m rumbling. I just couldn’t stop my thoughts. Okay I’ll stop now.
Simple, vintage and feminine. This is how I would describe this look. I bought this dress in a very low bargain price and I thought it will not look good on me. But you can never go wrong with a little twitching, right? I added some vintage pieces into this look like that sling bag from my mom’s. She never use it anymore and so she let me borrow it. I also put on a belt to update the shape of the dress. Belts are great if you want to make your waist more appealing or if you just want to add more vibe into your look.
Also, last week was so tiring. There had been a lot of exams and homeworks to deal with. And it’s so depressing but also a relief to go through all of them. When I went home though, I received some beautiful dresses and sweet treats from my aunt in UK! Somehow, my happiness level went from zero to a hundred. Now, I look forward for more OOTDs and Lookbooks, well, when I’m free from all the school stuff.
